If I didn't know better, I would have thought that you took my "Texas?" comment seriously but, judging from your dig on Kentucky, you clearly know that I was just joking and that, had James mentioned Pittsburgh in his comment, I would've said, "Pittsburgh?!" ;)

OK, now all you Pittsburgh residence: feel free to chime in… :)

I find it kind of funny that you act put out by a pro studio being in Texas...

Austin is one of the hotbeds for Country and even Rock and Hardcore music!

Harvey Gerst has run a studio in Texas for years and done work with bands signed to major labels every day. Seems you snobby pork eatin stringy headed new coolaid drinkin New York Yankee's need to open your eyes and ears to what the other 49 states do in this country!

Heck you guys might even figure out that they make music in places like Kentucky in "Pro Studios" though from all the demo's I hear Kentucky can't seem to keep the huge sucking sound from leaking into the room mic :P

Heh, pronunciation can be such a quirky thing, eh? I must admit, I'm probably influenced by George Hrab much of the time. He cracks me up and I think it rubs off on me. boooooothhhhhs…

I love your pronunciation fetish. Last time it was "boothzz.". This time it was "in-K." Classic.
